YOU CAN CHANGE THE RADIO STATION

The other night I had a dream that I was being chased by a swarm of bees. This had me reflect on two things.

1. For fun, I went to Google to see what this means. Some say that it's a sign of good fortune and happiness. And, some say it means that danger is ahead - a situation that will create stress/anxiety.

This kind of stuff is fun and interesting to me and I take it as "good to know." But, I get to choose what I want to tune into -- I can tune into fear and worry that "oh no, danger is ahead" and my experience will be created from this energy. Or, I can tune into good fortune and happiness and dance around my home in the excitement of what my dream means and my experience will be created from this energy. Which feels better? Easy question, huh?

What I'm saying here is that you always have the ability to tune into a different radio station (of the mind) than the one you are currently on. If 96.5 is full of anxious thoughts, that feeling doesn't feel good in your body, so turn the dial (or press the button) and switch to 99.9 where it's more upbeat and joyful. Why stay listening to a radio station that isn't enjoyable? Why stay stuck in anxious thoughts that don't feel good? Nothing good comes out of them, the answers/solutions don't reside in them, so switch the station and see what emerges when your state of mind is more clear, your consciousness is higher and you can see more clearly.

2. This is a perfect example of how infinitely creative our minds are. While we are sleeping, these creative and wild scenes are created. If this happens at night, then the same mind creates creative and wild scenes during the day too! The thing is, during the day we take every thought as real and true -- because we thought it, it must be true. We weren't really taught how the mind works and what lies behind thought -- the space from which all thought comes from. When we get curious and look in this direction more, we start to see the mind is fabulous at creating stories and...many are not true.
