A teacher of mine always says “try sh*t and see how it goes.”
I can speak for myself that I want to know the outcome or try to figure out the pros/cons of what may happen before I try it. That’s what holds us back and uses up our mental energy.
We cannot know how it will be until we try it. It’s like sailing - point the sailboat in a direction and then when the wind changes, you change direction. It’s the same with anything we are creating in life.
Do you have an idea for your organization/team/business? Try it and along the way you will see where you need to course correct. Perhaps a new door opens that you could have never planned for. Perhaps it turns out wildly different than you envisioned.
With zero attachment to the outcome, or even to how it is supposed to look, find a direction and take the next right action, and then the next.
That is all we can ever do.
Worrying, analyzing, predicting are all ways of overthinking that keep you stuck and swirling in the mind. And we wonder why we feel burnt out? ;)
Let it go. Drop it. And go try sh*t and see how it goes!
